Title: Three-dimensional regulation of transcription
Honored speaker: Prof. Xiaoyuan Song from University of Science and Technology of China
Time: 6 pm, Apr 13th, 2021.
Site: College of Science, LA208, Huxi District, Chongqing University.
Description: The three-dimensional regulation of transcription composed by long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) and three-dimensional chromosome structures plays important roles in brain aging. In this talk, Prof. Song will make a brief introduction on the roles and functions of lncRNA in brain aging. Prof. Song’s group first screened lncRNAs related to brain aging via lncRNA-seq and microarray chip analysis and then determined their binding sites on chromosomes as well as the cognate regulators, thus providing a clear picture on the involvement of lncRNAs in brain aging.
