重庆大学生命科学学院副教授,硕士生导师,国家乡村振兴重点帮扶县科技特派团团员,重庆市科学传播专家团专家,曾留学澳大利亚18个月,主要从事马铃薯生物育种和主要病害生物防控相关工作,主持国家和省部级十余个项目,在国内外期刊发表40多篇论文。参与嫦娥四号任务生物科普试验载荷的研制工作,将马铃薯等六种物种带上月球,首次在月球实现了生物的生长,以此项目为依托组织的“以花材为笔构建月球生物圈”高校科学营活动获得全国特色营队活动。开设《认识转基因》、《园林花卉学》、《植物生理学》等课程,多次被学校官微推荐,曾获重庆大学最受学生欢迎老师。多次走进学校和社区开展讲座、培训和科普活动,作为项目指导老师指导“英才计划”和“雏鹰计划”中学生学员开展科技项目,曾获重庆市最美科普志愿者提名奖、重庆市雏鹰计划优秀指导教师。指导本科生参加全国大学生生命科学竞赛获全国一等奖。
